The house, dating from the mid 19th century, has been lovingly renovated throughout, keeping many original features such as marble floors and vaulted ceilings with exposed beams. It adjoins the historic Church of San Egidio and an attractive Medieval Arch surmounted by a bell tower. Opposite is an elegant Renaissance building, Palazzo Scarafia.

HOW TO GET THERE
Giuncarico is served by Pisa (1 ½ hours drive) and Rome (2 ½ hours drive) airports. Ryanair offers cheap flights to both destinations, or you can fly with British Airways or Alitalia. The local town of Braccagni is the nearest railway station and the larger towns of Grosseto and Follonica provide alternative car hire options.
If travelling by car from Pisa, take the Aurelia highway southwards in the direction
of ROME/GROSSETO. From Rome, head north in the direction of LIVORNO. The Giuncarico
exit is 20 km north of Grosseto.
